We are delighted you’re thinking about visiting Easterhill Community Church. Whether you are new to the East End of Glasgow, or to the city and looking for a church, or exploring what it means to follow Jesus and who He is, we’d love to meet you.

WORSHIP

At ECC we see community worship as one of the ways in which we can express our love for God. We place a lot of value on meeting with God in this way, and you’ll find that many of our gathered events will feature singing songs of worship, praying and reading Scripture (the Bible). We believe that in gathered worship we can meet with God and learn of his His life-changing presence in us.

what happens at a service?

Worship

BEFORE THE SERVICE just follow the music upstairs where a warm welcome at the door by our host team, help yourself to some coffee/tea and relax, there will always be someone to look after you. Don’t worry about the kids, we don’t expect them to be angels! A countdown of 5 minutes will appear on the screen to let you know the service is about to begin. So take your seats and settle in.

DURING THE SERVICE we start with a time of welcome and some Church news, and some songs of praise. Then children have a special time with a story.

After a short time of prayer led from the from the front, we sing songs of worship, the speaker will give a Bible-based talk lasting roughly 30 mins. The kids rejoin us for the final song. Coffee and biscuits together for some chat.
